【摘要】:Dynamicmechanicaltestingprovidesamethodfordeterminingelasticandlossmoduliasafunctionoftemperature,frequencyortime,orboth.Aplotoftheelasticmodulusandlossmodulusofmaterialversustemperatureprovidesagraphicalrepresentationofelasticityanddampingasafunctionoftemperatureorfrequency.Thisprocedurecanbeusedtolocatetransitiontemperaturesofplastics,thatis,changesinthemolecularmotionsofapolymer.Inthetemperaturerangeswheresignificantchangesoccur,elasticmodulusdecreasesrapidlywithincreasingtemperature(atconstantornearconstantfrequency)orincreaseswithincreasingfrequency(atconstanttemperature).Amaximumisobservedforthelossmodulus,aswellasforthetandeltacurve,inthetransitionregion.Thisprocedurecanbeused,forexample,toevaluatebycomparisontoknownreferencematerialsorcontrolmaterials:5.3.1Degreeofphaseseparationinmulticomponentsystems,5.3.2Fillertype,amount,pretreatment,anddispersion,and5.3.3Effectsofcertainprocessingtreatment.Thisprocedurecanbeusedtodeterminethefollowing:5.4.1Stiffnessofpolymercomposites,especiallyasafunctionoftemperature,5.4.2Degreeofpolymercrystallinity,and5.4.3Magnitudeoftriaxialstressstateintherubberphaseofrubbermodifiedpolymers.Thisprocedureisusefulforqualitycontrol,specificationacceptance,andresearch.Proceduralmodificationsinmaterialspecificationstakeprecedencetothispractice.Therefore,consulttheappropriatematerialspecificationbeforeusingthispractice.Table1ofClassificationSystemD4000liststheASTMmaterialsstandardsthatcurrentlyexist.1.1Thispracticeisforgeneraluseingatheringandreportingdynamicmechanicaldata.Itincorporateslaboratorypracticefordeterminingdynamicmechanicalpropertiesofplasticspecimenssubjectedtovariousoscillatorydeformationsonavarietyofinstrumentsofthetypecommonlycalleddynamicmechanicalanalyzersordynamicthermomechanicalanalyzers.1.2Thispracticeisintendedtoprovidemeansofdeterminingthetransitiontemperatures,elastic,andlossmoduliofplasticsoverarangeoftemperatures,frequencies,ortime,byfreevibrationandresonantornonresonantforcedvibrationtechniques.Plotsofelasticandlossmoduliareindicativeoftheviscoelasticcharacteristicsofaplastic.Thesemoduliarefunctionsoftemperatureorfrequencyinplastics,andchangerapidlyatparticulartemperaturesorfrequencies.Theregionsofrapidmodulichangearenormallyreferredtoastransitionregions.1.3Thepracticeisprimarilyusefulwhenconductedoverarangeoftemperaturesfrom160Ctopolymerdegradationandisvalidforfrequenciesfrom0.01to1000Hz.1.4Thispracticeisintendedformaterialsthathaveanelasticmodulusintherangefrom0.5MPato100GPa[73psito1.5107psi].1.5Discrepanciesinresultsareknowntoarisewhenobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Withoutchangingtheobserveddata,reportinginfull(asdescribedinthispractice)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtainedwillenableapparentdifferencesobservedinanotherstudytobereconciled.Anassumptionofthistechniqueisthattestingisconductedintheregionoflinearviscoelasticbehavior.1.6Differentmodesofdeformation,suchastensile,bendingandshear,areused,aslistedinthereferencedtestmethods.1.7Testdataobtainedbythispracticearerelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.1.8ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsaref......
