【摘要】:Somefueldilutionoftheengineoilmaytakeplaceduringnormaloperation.However,excessivefueldilutionisofconcernintermsofpossibleperformanceproblems.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheamountofdilutionincrankcaseoilsofengineswhengasolinehasbeenusedasthefuel.Note1Theremaybecasesindispute,therefore,theuserofthistestmethodisadvisedtoestablishwhetherthismethodwillbeaccepted.TheremaybecaseswhereTestMethodD3525resultswillbesetastherefereevalue.1.2ThevaluesstatedinacceptableSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatement,see6.4,7.1,and9.3.
